Chef and owner Chris Brown received his culinary degree in 2002 and spent years in a professional kitchen before and after receiving his degree. He and his wife, Carrie, are now serving Waxahachie together as a team and could not love what they do more! Together Chris and Carrie have over 30 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry.
Chris & Carrie were married in March 2008. They have five kids, a daughter-in-law, and a perfect little grandson. Chris owned his own claims firm, and Carrie was thriving in her real estate career when they decided to do what they loved best to raise money for a youth group mission trip at their church. They began cooking Thanksgiving dinners, expecting to be tired and worn out after cooking 20 Thanksgiving dinners in 1 week but found the complete opposite. They had been missing out! They realized that God used the mission trip to steer them in the direction of their new business, Catered. Little did they know that Catered was a path to a much bigger dream, Super Sliders Food Truck, followed by Super Sliders Restaurant just a short 18 months later!
